Just a quick post-- late to HH for a friend's birthday but I knew I will not get to posting after the festivities.  So here we are...

I wish I could say the dress was vintage but unfortunately I picked it up from SAKS.  It reminded of something I can get at a Mexican market sans the flower in my hair.

Bidi Bidi Bom Bom... Fringe frenzy

It hit 89 degrees yesterday afternoon and everywhere I turned someone was having a crawfish boil party.  I took the liberties of inviting myself over to my neighbor's party and was rewarded with the best crawfish (first time ever having them).  I know... I owe them a "thank you" gift.  It's a lot of work to eat ( involves breaking, applying pressure and sucking-- just to get the meat from the tail end) but it's so worth it.  I wish I had taken pictures of the meal and the pro-crawfish eaters around for you guys; it was definitely something to see.  For the occasion I wore...

Bye bye winter!

Or in our case (i.e. Texans), bye bye tumultuous fall. I lived in below fox-fur trimmed hoodie all season.  It was very lazy of me but as I have been told many times, lazy becomes moi.  That was definitely not a compliment when stated, but I was too blah (i.e mentally lazy) to care...

Ahhh, my spring dream...

I am on the hunt for this outfit--well, mainly I want, want, want the turban.  Unfortunately, I find that it is impossible to find one large enough to fit my head.  Till next time...

Flea market find... Grandma's curtains

Found this dress at a flea market in NYC, did some alterations (made it into a tube dress) and voila...

Depending on who you ask, maybe not so much voila... it does significantly reduce my non-existent boobs.  In any case, Maria from The Sound of Music will be very proud of me for mimicking her use of curtains for clothing.
